■Basis of the upper body

The manga character's face and upper body will come out the most.
Depiction of the upper body is indispensable to issue a movement of the character and atmosphere.



Please compare simple drawn upper body with realistic drawn upper body.



Simple drawn male cannot distinguish front or the back side.
Female has a breast, It will be clear whether the front or the back side.
We can understand because there is "Feature details of point" like breast.

The figure below explains a "Feature details of point" of the realistic drawn upper body.

[1] It is a line where the bulge in the collarbone is shown.
[2] It is a bulge in the part where collarbone ties to shoulder blades (Scapula).
[3] It is a line where the bulge in the pectoralis major is shown.
[4] The back turns to the side of the arm.
[5] The arm is before slant from the Shoulder blades.
[6] There is a bulge of the bone in the inside of elbow.
[7] The back projects with the muscle around the shoulder blades.
[8] It is a line where the bulge in the shoulder blades is shown.



It is a side view and a top view.
Please compare the front view , the back view , the top view , and the side view of the body.
It have to understand three-dimensionally.
